Michiel F. van Ginkel appointed to CEO Dutch Greenhouse Delta

The Supervisory Board of Dutch Greenhouse Delta has appointed Michiel F. van Ginkel as CEO. Michiel F. van Ginkel has been active in both the food industry and the horticultural sector for more than 30 years. He has held international positions at Procter & Gamble, The Greenery, H.J. Heinz, and HAK. From 2014 to 2020 he worked as Managing Director of Royal ZON.

The Dutch horticultural sector was honored with visits from all over the world. Ministries, investors, horticultural entrepreneurs, universities, and horticulture associations from amongst others the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Kazakhstan, and the US were in the Netherlands to learn how the Dutch ecosystem and Dutch advanced and smart tech solutions contribute to producing food safety and food security in their countries.

Leading delegations from all over the world to the Netherlands for GreenTech and Floriade

During the week of June 12 to 17, ministries, investors, horticultural entrepreneurs, universities, and horticulture associations from the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Kazakhstan, and the US will visit the Dutch horticultural sector. The goal of these high-level incoming missions is to gain insight into how the Dutch ecosystem and Dutch advanced and smart tech solutions contribute to producing food safely and food securely. The incoming mission from the UAE is officially chaired by Her Excellency Mariam Bint Mohammed Saeed Hareb Almheiri, the Minister of Climate Change and Environment of the United Arab Emirates. The incoming mission from Kazakhstan is chaired by Tamabek Abylkhair Galymuly, the Deputy Minister of Agriculture of Kazakhstan.

Large delegation of dignitaries and entrepreneurs from UAE to the Netherlands for Greentech week

In the week of 12 to 17 June, dignitaries, investors and horticultural entrepreneurs from the United Arab Emirates (UAE) will be visiting the Dutch food & flower industry. The incoming mission from the UAE is officially chaired by Her Excellency Sheikha Mariam bint Mohammed Almheiri, UAE’s Minister of Climate Change and the Environment. The visit will lead to the consolidation and expansion of cooperation and to an understanding of how the Dutch eco-system and Dutch advanced and high-tech solutions contribute to food safety and food security.
