Africa Works! 2024 Conference

AFRICA WORKS 23 April BY NABC

Since its initial edition in 2012, the Netherlands-African Business Council’s (NABC) flagship event Africa Works! has grown into the largest Africa-focused business conference in the Benelux. With an average of 400 visitors per day and 30% of the participants from Africa; Africa Works! is THE place where Africa and the Netherlands meet.

“Africa’s Green Industrialisation – Made in Africa” is the overarching theme we have chosen for the sixth edition of Africa Works! with a focus on green solutions which aim to decouple economic growth from environmental harm. Africa Works! 2024 will explore sustainable economic diversification including opportunities linked to three themes:

  1.  Circular Food Production (regenerative approaches to food production and repurposing waste streams in the agro-processing sector).
  2.  Renewable Energy (alternative energy sources for the energy transition and advanced waste-to-energy technologies).
  3.  Sustainable Agro-logistics (efficient cold chains and sustainable transportation systems).

Programme

The Africa Works! 2024 conference will take place on the 23rd of April in KIT Royal Tropical Institute, Amsterdam, located at Mauritskade 63 1092 AD, Amsterdam.
