The Netherlands showcases its strength as a global partner in Controlled Environment Agriculture during GreenTech Week 2026

From 8 to 12 June 2026, the Netherlands once again welcomes international horticulture professionals from around the world during GreenTech Week. While GreenTech Amsterdam takes place from 9 to 11 June at RAI Amsterdam, the activities extend far beyond the exhibition halls.

Throughout the week, international delegations from the Middle East, Asia, Africa, North America and South America will visit the Netherlands to experience first-hand how Dutch horticulture contributes to future-proof food production systems. Growers, breeders, greenhouse technology suppliers, AgTech entrepreneurs, investors, retailers, policymakers and government representatives will take part in tailor-made programmes designed to showcase the strength of the Dutch Controlled Environment Agriculture (CEA) ecosystem.

Visitors will explore a wide range of locations, including greenhouse operations, retailers, knowledge institutions and GreenTech itself. Together, these visits provide insight into how technology, growing expertise, data and collaboration come together in practical solutions for global food challenges.

One integrated ecosystem

During GreenTech Week, public and private partners join forces to present the Netherlands as a leading partner in Controlled Environment Agriculture worldwide. The Dutch horticultural sector presents itself as one integrated ecosystem, demonstrating how collaboration across business, government and knowledge institutions helps develop scalable and locally applicable solutions.

This collective approach is reflected in the Strategic Trade Fair Programme (SBP), coordinated by AVAG and carried out in cooperation with the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, Food Security and Nature, the Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO), Municipality of Westland, Dutch Greenhouse Delta, GreenTech and World Horti Center. The programme aims to strengthen international partnerships and create new business opportunities by showcasing the combined expertise of the Dutch horticulture sector.
