Successful participation of PIB China cluster at IPM Shanghai

The Dutch PIB China cluster “NL Protected Agri Alliance China’ successfully participated at the 25th Hortiflorexpo IPM Shanghai. After three years of absence, the Dutch cluster presented it’s solution for producing fresh, healthy, affordable and sustainable food in China. The expo took place on April 13-15.

In a joint booth at the Shanghai New International Expo Center, the PIB China cluster, coordinated by Dutch Greenhouse Delta, presented the Dutch horticulture eco-system and displayed their individual solutions. The PIB booth covered all aspects of modern horticulture, which support China to produce ultra-fresh, safe, and sustainable fruit and vegetables all year round, against a fair process, and as close to the point of consumption as possible.

The cluster also managed to organize several successful side events during the week. On Thursday 13th April, the Dutch seminar entitled “Innovative Digital Agriculture Accelerate the Sustainable Agriculture Development” was held by the Consulate General of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Shanghai. Moreover, a network reception was organized by the NL Embassy.

The NL Protected Agri Alliance China looks back on a successful participation at the 25th Hortiflorexpo IPM Shanghai. Ties have been strengthened with existing relations and new contacts have been made. A lot of new opportunities have arisen.

Next to the NL Protected Agri Alliance China cluster (Bayer – De Ruiter Seeds, BASF, BOAL Group, Grodan, HX Agriculture, Imagro, InHolland, Kenlog, KUBO, KuiperCompagnons, Lentiz, Ridder, Svensson and Vison Group), DGD’s partners Certhon, Hoogendoorn Growth Management, Signify, Syngenta, Van der Hoeven Horticultural Projects were present.

The participation of the joint booth of PIB China was organized by Dutch Greenhouse Delta, the PIB liaisons in China, the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in China and the NL Consulate in Shanghai.
