From niche growers to mega tomato producers, and from local retailers to global ports: Dutch horticulture covers a vast array of aspects. Each greenhouse product boasts its own supply chain and specific technology. During last week’s incoming mission from India, we guided a group of influential growers, investors, and government officials through the comprehensive Dutch horticultural ecosystem, showcasing its innovation and efficiency at every step.
The objective of this mission was to convince the delegates of the working business case for high-tech greenhouse cultivation, by demonstrating that fresh products can be high-quality and affordable in supermarkets. By taking our guests through every aspect of the Dutch food chain, we proved them that Dutch high tech solutions lead to profitable business model.
By the end of the week, 4 new business cases were initiated for potential Indo-Dutch projects in India.
