Recap incoming delegation from China

With great pleasure, we welcomed a broadly composed delegation from China for a Horticultural Mission. With a customized program, we immersed the delegation members in the innovative strength of Dutch horticulture. The delegation comprised the Shanghai vegetable and edible fungi industry association, including growers from multiple regions in China, delegates from the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, investors from Jiangsu province, universities focusing on horticulture and agricultural sciences, and also private companies.

We look back on a succesfull trade mission, where the delegates took note of the benefits of Controlled Environment Agriculture, as well as the importance of collaboration to locally achieve sustainable ecosystems for food and plant production. Additionally, they established contacts with companies and knowledge institutions in the Netherlands, engaged in networking, and discussed opportunities for collaboration.

Now that the mission is over, we can already share that the first seeds have been planted for further collaboration. We look forward to the follow-up discussions that we will organize with delegates and our partner companies from DGD-China!

This incoming Trade Mission was organized by Dutch Greenhouse Delta, in collaboration with Rijksdienst voor Ondernemend Nederland (RVO), and the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in China.
