Dutch Greenhouse Delta, in cooperation with Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO), invites you to a roundtable session about opportunities for horticulture in India. India is one of the fastest-growing economies in the world, with more than 1.4 billion inhabitants. Demand for Dutch food solutions is increasing rapidly: from seeds and protected cultivation technology to smart logistics.
Why join this roundtable
This interactive session is your chance to actively shape the Dutch approach to India. Together we will define what the upcoming economic mission should focus on, and how the multi-year CombiTrack India programme can best serve the sector. By joining, you will:
- Gain insight into why India is becoming a key market for Dutch horticulture.
- Exchange experiences with fellow companies on opportunities and challenges.
- Indicate when and how joining the mission would be most relevant for your company.
- Share what knowledge or support you need to shape your future India strategy.
- Help identify barriers or knowledge gaps that currently limit Dutch engagement with India.
About the Economic Mission to India
The mission to India will take place from October 27th – 29th and offers Dutch companies the opportunity to explore the market first-hand, connect with key stakeholders, and experience the dynamics of India’s horticultural sector on the ground. The programme will include matchmaking, company visits, and knowledge sessions, ensuring participants return with valuable insights and new business leads. The mission is directly linked to the multi-year CombiTrack India programme, making it an important step for companies considering long-term involvement.
Our country table India, PIB HortiRoad2India, will host a dedicated horticulture programme during the mission, ensuring that Dutch expertise in protected cultivation is strongly represented. Highlights include Reunion Sessions with our network in New Delhi and Bangalore. A key moment will be the contract signing for a new high tech greenhouse.
After the official Economic Mission concludes, the programme continues exclusively for PIB members. The group will travel to Punjab, where the focus will shift to deepening partnerships and sharing our results.
