Construction of Netherlands Pavilion at Expo 2025 Osaka has started

The Netherlands officially kicked off construction for its pavilion at Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, with a groundbreaking ceremony on March 5th. Dutch Greenhouse Delta is proud to be in charge of the horticulture programming at the Netherlands pavilion, themed ‘Common Ground’.

During the World Expo 2025, the Netherlands pavilion will showcase innovative solutions for the world’s most pressing challenges, such as climate change, food security, and an aging population.

Marc Kuipers, Consul General of the Netherlands in Osaka and Commissioner General for the Netherlands’ display area at Expo 2025, says: “Our world needs collaboration to tackle these issues. Expo 2025 offers a platform for the Netherlands to share its expertise and work together towards a sustainable future.”
