In November 2024, Dutch Greenhouse Delta travelled to India with a clear goal: driving innovation and building partnerships to transform the food system!
The Dutch cluster HortiRoad2India visited Lucknow, Delhi, Hyderabad and Chennai. The visit revealed a sector on the move. Indian industry and government are pushing for sustainable solutions, creating opportunities for collaboration in high-tech greenhouses, resource efficiency, and food security. Agreements like the MoU’s with SANDHU GREENS and Fragaria, and the new connections with growers and investors showed the potential is massive.
India isn’t waiting—it’s happening now. We are therefore expanding with a clear mid-tech approach in India, creating even more opportunities in this growing market.
The mission reinforced one message: together, we can create impactful solutions for a sustainable future.
