“Exciting times ahead for Dutch Greenhouse Delta as we kicked off new memberships for North Africa starting 1 January! This marks the beginning of a new Partners for International Business (PIB) program, focusing on horticulture and water management solutions in Egypt.
For those unfamiliar, the PIB program is a public-private partnership (PPP) designed by the Dutch government’s Enterprise Agency to support Dutch companies in marketing and promoting their services and innovations, while helping them explore business opportunities, this time in Egypt’s rapidly growing food production market. It combines knowledge-sharing, networking, and strategic collaboration to drive impactful results.
With my role as DGD’s Director for the Middle East and Africa I’m honoured to co-coordinate this program and to work alongside DGD’s esteemed partners. Together, we aim to strengthen Dutch expertise in Egypt, addressing critical challenges like water scarcity and sustainable food production.
And the journey doesn’t stop here! Later this year, we will look to launch a similar program for Morocco , further expanding our efforts in the North African region.
Here’s to innovation, collaboration, and making a difference. Let’s grow together!”
