SUMMARY:Study Tour on Protected Horticulture and Cold Chain Supply to Egypt
DESCRIPTION:The core programme consists of 3 days (February 12-14), with 2 additional days allocated for travel (February 11 and 15). It includes two days of field visits to relevant Egyptian/Dutch subsidiary greenhouses/farms, a networking reception, and one Demo Day which includes a seminar, showcasing Dutch expertise in protected horticulture and cold chain, and a matchmaking event.\nThe aim of the visit will be to bolster knowledge exchange and strengthen the bilateral cooperation between the Netherlands and Egypt on climate and water-smart agriculture. Such cooperation encompasses an intention for long-term collaboration such as a PIB ( https://english.rvo.nl/subsidies-financing/pib ) formulation or other long-term programs.\n
